Nicholas Hooper以多彩的交响乐闻名。2004年他凭借The Young Visiters获得了英国电影和电视艺术学院奖（BAFTA Awards）的最佳配乐，同时他的State of Play也有被提名。今年再度以Prime Suspect: The Final Act获得 BAFTA Awards最佳配乐。
Nicholas Hooper与本集导演David Yates曾经有过多次合作，其中2002年，他们以"The Way We Live Now"共同入围BAFTA Awards。
