After an instrumental tune/intro "From the moon" the action really begin, and "Open fire" is a typical up tempo song by Y&T, similar to "Mean streak". The material is rather diverse and there's lighter and melodic tunes like "Don't wanna lose" (a real gem!) as well as fast rockers in the shape of "Black tiger". The bass driven "Barroom boogie" gives the album character and the captivating fan favourite "Forever" gives an example of a classic Y&T formula used on previous as well as following songs. "Hell or high water" shows Y&T's ability to be slow but still groovy and heavy without ending up like Dio on "Strange highway".
