ByJeffrey B. Nuttleon February 3, 2017 Format: Audio CD Just got this in the mail. I have been following Catie since her very first record (remember vinyl?) Each time I get the newest one (pretty sure I got em all) it's a wonderful day. I don't think songs about the heart get much better than her's. She writes from a place so authentic and so honest. It is hard for me to imagine anyone, no matter who they are or who they love, not being moved. For myself after I hear one of her songs, it's like "Yeah, I know that. I have been there." While We're Here is her finest, most mature, most beautifully produced yet. The arrangements are perfect for each song and expose so many aspects of her heart. Like the facets of a fine diamond.The other players are so good and so right for this CD. I predict this will be your new favorite Catie Curtis CD. I know it is for me. And be sure to see her on her Final Outing. Her last tour playing live. The thought of no more live Catie is a sad one, but I do understand the reasons. She has given us all so much in years past. I do hope there will be more CDs though. This new one is in no way a disappointment. Just the next step in the evolution of her songs and her big, big heart. WTG Catie.
