　 　　剧情描述在加拿大的一个小村镇年青男女正在热闹地开情人节舞会。一名神秘的蒙面男子突然冲入，手持利斧见人就砍，引起全镇恐慌…… 本片风格类似美国摄制的《十三号星期五》系列恐怖影片，但是加拿大的背景看来较有新鲜感，而恐怖血腥气氛亦较同类电影更佳。本片导演乔治．米哈尔卡，演员包括保罗．凯曼和洛莉．荷莉亚。 　　距今二十年前，以采矿业为主的诺瓦斯科提亚小镇发生一起严重的瓦斯爆炸事故，在矿洞中的工人几乎悉数丧生。事故是由于负责人离开岗位参加情人节舞会，以至于无人监管所引起的。一年后，惨剧中的唯一生还者哈里?沃登（Peter Cowper 饰）对矿上的负责人大开杀戒，他随后被强制送往精神病院。但在离开时哈里留下诅咒，小镇从此不可再举行情人节舞会。 　　二十年后，一群年轻大胆且无所顾忌的年轻人无法忍受枯燥沉闷的情人节，他们决定将久违的舞会带回小镇。而随着舞会一同回来的，还有残酷的血腥杀戮…… 一句话评论 There's more than one way to lose your heart...
