The Doors(大门)乐队是Jim Morrison和Ray Manzarek在洛杉矶加利福尼亚大学电影系相识后决定建立的,乐队名字来源于William Blake的诗中的一句:"If the doors of perception wre cleansed, Everything would appear to man as it is...infinite".他们的主要唱片有The Doors (1967), Strange Days (1967), The Soft Parade, (1969), Morrison Hotel (1970), LA Woman (1971), 等. 1971年7月3日,主唱Jim Morrison在巴黎去世,之后乐队又出了两张专辑Other Voices (1971), Full Circle (1972), 但失去灵魂人物的乐队终于难以为继,不久解散.
此专辑是这个传奇乐队02年在美国作纪念巡演的作品，想必对他们情有独钟的乐迷不会错过。
