这是一张绝对物超所值的Ennio Morricone精选集，买了这张唱片，不少唱片就可以不用买了。
从Dimitri Tiomkin的＜日正当中＞之后，Title Song主题曲成为西部电影的特色之一，Ennio Morricone的Spaghetti Westerns其实也颇为呼应这股风潮，不过坦白说，大多数Spaghetti Western的主题曲都远不若美式西部电影的主题曲走红，其风格偏向轻快通俗，歌词浅白单调，演唱的歌手更不可能与好莱坞相提并论，因此这些歌曲大多随风而逝，或许曾走红一时，但终究经不起时代考验而从影迷记忆中消失，这张精选集中的歌曲，恐怕多是这类的作品，它们多半轻快可爱，旋律简单，容易上口，颇富娱乐性，但特色不多，水准平平，这些作品多采当代流行曲风，不像美式西部音乐采名谣风格，固然轻快可爱，不过不若美式西部电影主题曲那般诗意与富有韵味，但现在听来倒也十分有趣，虽然其成就无法和精湛的配乐相比，但算是Spaghetti Westerns的另一项特色。
