专辑介绍： 乐队成员： Jon Bucklew – drums Bryan Laurenson – guitars, piano James Likeness – bass, backing vocals Aaron Marsh – vocals, guitars, mellotron, organ, piano Copeland 组建于2000年，是一支来自美国Florida洲的乐队。现主要在Georgia洲活动，音乐风格PUNK，签约于独立厂牌Militia Group。 “天使般的声音”—— Militia Group官方网站上如此评价Marsh的嗓音。一个男人的声音被说成像天使。。。不过Marsh声音性别并不模糊，相反，刚气十足，也不乏激情，只能说他的声线清新纯净。Copeland2003年发行第一张专集“Beneath Medicine Tree”，2005年推出第二张“In Motion”。 这张“EAT, SLEEP, REPEAT”是2006年10月31日的新作，细腻柔美的旋律，仿佛生活中一个个细小镜头的特写，带给你一点点感动与忧郁。。。 Like a lot of people I’m sure, I had huge expectations, not to mention huge excitement for the newest Copeland record ‘Eat, Sleep, Repeat’. When excitement and expectations run so high it then becomes very easy to be let down, even by the slightest things. Let me be one of the first to say that this record is different than the previous two, yet it does not disappoint someone looking for music with passion behind it. The album as a whole has almost a creepy/lonely feeling which the first song “Where’s my head” sets the stage for. The song, which is a little over 2 minutes, never fully breaks into the full band but rather at its peak it’s simply vocals with a lot of background drums/noise. Musically “Careful now” seems like it could have been a track off ‘In Motion’, however vocally it strays from the traditional Copeland sound. “Love affair” is the song I can see being that song that everyone loves, whether they admit it or not. The song, which is one of the longest on the record, starts slow and then continually builds into this epic love song which then musically changes to be piano and believe it or not, trumpet lead. “I’m safer on an airplane” and “The last time he saw Dorie” are two of the slower, mellower tracks (comparatively speaking). Besides “Love affair”, my personal favorites are the last two tracks on this beautiful record. “I’m a sucker for a kind word” is one of the more upbeat songs, probably a song that will stick out with its very predominant melody in the chorus and verses. The record concludes with a song you probably would not expect to hear on the record. The song starts with Elton John like piano, which then is later accompanied by an amazing strings section. I didn’t know what I was expecting with this latest release from the guys of Copeland, but needless to say they have come through in a big way. 专辑曲目: 01. Where Is My Head 02. Eat, Sleep, Repeat 03.
