The Widower tells the true story of Malcolm Webster who was convicted of murdering his first wife and attempting to murder his second wife. The three-parter is produced by ITV Studios, Octagon Films & NZ Films and stars Reece Shearsmith (Psychoville), John Hannah (Spartacus), Sheridan Smith (Mrs Biggs), Archie Panjabi (The Fall), Scott Ainslie (EastEnders), Paul Blair (The Day of the Triffids), Kate Fleetwood (Way To Go), Kate Arneil (Jack Ryan), Alan Convy (Doctors) and Iain Cairns (Bob Servant Independent).
