Combichrist的音乐可以用 industrial, ebm, electronic等标签来定义，但是其实用TBM更贴切一点，因为确实他的风格跟electro以及传统的ebm不一样。有点朋克，有点EBM，有点跳舞（或者把次序倒过来）。混音做得很有意思，低音部分会很浑浊但是听起来又没有散开，还是非常有力。
Combichrist由挪威人Andy LaPlegua（同时也是Icon of Coil乐队成员)在2003年组建的一个aggrotech乐队(aggrotech基本可以看作是techno影响下的electro-industrial和dark electro 的变种，九十年代中期出现)。在Andy LaPlegua确定Combichrist的理念后，他赶往美国并在美国发展Combichrist乐队以及其它分支Scandy和Panzer AG。
——03年Combichrist发行LP《Joy of Gunz》，03年万圣节前夕发行限量版EP《Kiss The Blade》并在几星期内卖光。
——04年发行第二张EP《Sex, Drogen Und Industrial》在DAC排行榜上连续7周坐在第一把金交椅上。
——05年发行《Everybody Hates You》，也就在这个时候乐队开始称呼自己的风格为"Techno Body Music" 或者TBM。乐队还写了一首歌名字就叫做 "This is TBM" 并出现在Out-of-Line厂牌05的发行的一张合辑《Techno Body Music volume 1》内。
——06年发行的《Get Your Body Beat》真正使乐队取得了商业上的成功。
