＜内容＞
08年、『ef - the latter tale.』にて、その完結を迎えた『ef - a fairy tale of the two.』。そのサウンドトラックCDを発売。
本作「Alato(アラート)」は、2部形式となった上記作品の楽曲・100曲超を収録しております。
もちろんメインテーマ、エンディングテーマ等、3曲のボーカル楽曲も完全収録。

パッケージは、B5サイズ・豪華上製本仕様。
その上、付属のブックレットには、曲目リスト・歌詞に加えて、特別コンテンツを用意。
1.“新堂 凪” 描き下ろし漫画アニメ『ef』劇中で、漫画家の主人公（ペンネーム：新堂 凪）が描く漫画部分の作画を担当した、黒井 みめい氏による描き下ろし漫画を掲載。
CDのブックレットに合わせ、音楽をテーマとした内容となっております。
2. 制作陣による特別座談会PCゲーム/アニメ『ef』で音楽を担当した、天門、柳らによる特別座談会を掲載。
