Chantelle Tagoe (Emile Heskey's partner), Ellie Darby (Matthew Upson's partner), Elen Rivas (Frank Lampard's ex-partner) and the ex-girlfriends of Jermaine Pennant and Jermaine Defoe - Amii Grove and Imogen Thomas - are faced with the stark reality of the orphan crisis, HIV pandemic and social breakdown there. Starting at the Baphumelele Children's Home in one of the most crime-ridden and dangerous shanty towns, the girls cover 16-hour shifts, caring for children who have been abandoned, abused and are HIV positive.
