Lazarus Dig!!!》在英国流行音乐榜中首周上榜，名列第四位。 其实，在近两年中，Nick Cave一直就没闲着，在2005年底和今年年初，他和御用小提琴手Warren Ellis先后合作了两张电影原声大碟《The Proposition》和《The Assassination of Jesse James》，而去年，他还与“三颗坏种子”一起变身成为“Grinderman”，并推出一张同名专辑《Grinderman》。老顽童Nick Cave在变着法儿的玩，我们也的确都猜不到他下一步会玩出点什么。
相比Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds近年来的温柔范儿，这张《Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!!》无疑是粗线条的，专辑整体的曲风更接近于去年Grinderman推出的那张《Grinderman》，但其中也不乏像《Jesus Of The Moon》这样个别动听的慢歌 。由于专辑中涉及到圣经的部分内容，因此有些歌词理解起来还是有相当难度的。《Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!!》由Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds和在《Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of orpheus》中曾与乐队合作过的Nick Launay联合制作。
