专辑介绍： 事实上，华纳已在2005年底发行了恩雅（Enya）专辑《Amarantine 永恒诗篇》，而在2006年圣诞前夕发行的《Amarantine - Special Christmas Edition 永恒 - 圣诞特别版》双CD，第一张CD就是前者本身。 　　拥有全球超过6500万张专辑销售、荣获4座格莱美奖肯定的恩雅（Enya），趁着 2006年圣诞前夕，所献上的《Amarantine - Special Christmas Edition 永恒 - 圣诞特别版》双CD温暖加值盘，除了收录2005年专辑《Amarantine 永恒诗篇》中原有的12首作品外，另外加收了自她与美国 NBC 电视网所合作推出的迷你特辑《Sounds Of The Season 四季之声》中所选出的4首圣诞歌曲，其中包括了恩雅（Enya）与创作搭档罗玛·莱恩（Roma Ryan）所谱写创作的2首圣诞新作“The Magic of the Night 圣诞夜神奇”、“Christmas Secrets 圣诞的秘密”，还有恩雅（Enya）重新诠释的圣诞经典名曲“We Wish You A Merry Christmas 祝你圣诞快乐”、“Adeste，Fideles 真挚来临”。 　　恩雅（Enya）表示，把专辑定名为《Amarantine - Special Christmas Edition 永恒 - 圣诞特别版》是取其永垂不朽、生生不息的意思，专辑里透过流行音乐与古典乐之间的音乐律动，去创造一个充满愉悦听觉的音乐空间，勾勒出一个弥漫着静谧与美丽感觉的绿洲。原专辑《Amarantine 永恒诗篇》至今已连续产生了“Amarantine 永恒诗篇”、“Someone Said Goodbye 说声再见”等打进全美抒情榜 TOP 40 的单曲，而专辑中改编自日本俳句诗人松尾芭蕉（Matsuo Basho）的三行俳句诗作品的“Sumiregusa 菫草”则曾在专辑发行前获选为松下（Panasonic）2004年的年度广告曲。专辑中同时还有3首以电影《魔戒》中的精灵语言为灵感所自创的 “Loxian”语言而写成的作品“Less Than A Pearl 微弱的存在”、“The River Sings 河流之歌”、“Water Shows The Hidden Heart 水影心事”。

This two-disc set in a 2-CD jewel case and cover sleeve was released in 2006. It features the previously released 12 tracks on the first disc. The second disc has 4 newly recorded Christmas songs: Adeste, Fideles, The Magic of the Night, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Christmas Secrets. The standard booklet with lyrics is included.
