专辑类型： Punk / Alternative / Pop Punk 专辑介绍： 1987年Tony Sly, Steve Papoutsis, Rory Koff, and Chris Dodge在佛罗里达州的San Jose成立了这名叫"No Use for a Name(NUFAN)"的Punk rock乐队。现有成员Tony Sly、Dave Nassie、Matt Riddle、Rory Koff. 1987年的"Gang Way"可以说是乐队的走向成名路的起点。之后已自己乐队命名的EP放出。而第二张EP"Let'em Out"放出后，Chris Dodge也随之离开。93年NUFAN即将加入新的公司时，也就是发行第三张大碟时Chris Dodge又以吉他手的身份归队了。随后以最能抓住音乐旋律本质的Robin Pfefer取代了Chris Dodge的位置。 "The Daily Grind"的巨大成功使乐队在音乐上得到了更高的认可。之后的吉他手的位置又易主了——Ed Gregor加入。95年的第四张专辑"Leche Con Carne"，乐队又添加了新的血液Chris Shiflett和Matt Riddle，分别是吉他手和贝司。Ed Gregor和Steve Papoutsis则"隐居"了。乐队可谓真是"热闹"啊。 "Making Friends"专辑大赚特赚之后，97年乐队在美国、欧洲、澳大利亚、加拿大、日本进行了世界性的巡演。 他们的音乐是有90年代那种Pop punk的轻快，其实更确切的说他们是Pop punk比较合适。在他们的专辑中很少受到硬核朋克的影响。演奏得尽量大声和快速是他们的特点。吉他、贝司等朴素性质也有体现。 专辑和EP： * No Use for a Name EP(Woodpecker Records, 1988.) * Let 'Em Out EP (Slap-a-Ham Records, 1989.) * Incognito (New Red Archives, 1990.
