It has entailed weeping outside a Russian hotel and all but adding to a laundry bill in Sardinia. I hope that what is heard reflects some of this considerable spectrum. Music aside, the most enjoyable aspect of cracking this was a personal one; that of making new friends and consolidating old. Kate and Bill, whom I met purely through this project are a couple of gleamers; buy them a drink when you see them. I now count these two lovely folk as good chums and that is a marvellous thing. Among the old friends, Wayne McIntyre was again a pleasure to work with. A big hand for him.
