故事发生在“精灵黄昏”的五年之后，也许先去温习一下前作比较好，毕竟是中文版本的嘛。游戏回归于系列最初的动作战斗模式，对于那些反感《精灵黄昏》节奏过慢的玩家来说应该是个福音。而游戏还加入了ONLINE模式，据说可以让玩家们用自己培养的角色互相展开战斗，这点大大地挑起了玩家的竞争欲，不过国内玩家毕竟还是无福消受。
