Anyhow -- this Bristol based duo have beenbusying themselves releasing 7"s and EPs for years now and The Beijing of Our Career is their long-awaited debut full length. There's something about their unusual sound that's endearing -- the 'live' sound, the un-effected drum machine cycles and the vintage synths. It's kind of what Plone would sound like if they were hanging out with Aphex Twin for a few weeks.
